Natiiv Beat

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-09

Natiiv Beat ("Beat") is a workstream and task management service operated by Natiiv. This policy describes what data Beat stores when your workspace uses it — including through the Beat MCP connector for AI assistants — and how that data is handled.

01

What we store

Account data (name, email addresses, avatar, sign-in method), the content your workspace creates (workstreams, tasks, docs, comments, milestones, clients), file attachments, a per-field audit history of changes, and usage metadata (API-key usage, rate-limit counters, session and consent records).

02

What AI assistants receive

When you connect an AI assistant (for example Claude) to Beat through the MCP connector, it can read and write the same workspace data your signed-in account can already see — nothing more. Access is authorized per user through OAuth and can be revoked at any time. Beat never requests your assistant's memory, other conversations, or files.

03

Where data lives (subprocessors)

Beat runs on Vercel (hosting), Neon (PostgreSQL database), and Cloudflare R2 (file storage). Google provides optional Google sign-in. These providers process data solely to operate the service.

04

Workspace isolation

Beat is multi-tenant: each workspace's data is isolated, and every read and write is scoped to a workspace you are a member of. Requests for another workspace's items return not-found.

05

Retention & deletion

Data is kept while your workspace is active. Deleting an item permanently removes it, including stored files; offboarding a workspace removes its data. Contact us to request account deletion or a data export.

06

What we don't do

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or train AI models on it. Workspace content is processed only to provide the service.

07

Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Sign-in supports Google OAuth and per-account passwords with brute-force throttling; MCP access uses per-user OAuth 2.0 with PKCE, or scoped API keys with rate limits.

08

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the policy changes; material changes are announced to workspace admins.
